VELLO is engineered from the ground up for modern African gated communities. Our operational models are guided by five non-negotiable invariants:
Visitor ingress access logs and mobile telephone numbers taken at estate access gates are automatically purged from our cloud storage after 90 days. We keep only anonymized traffic aggregates for community planning.
We do not sell, rent, monetize, or broker your personal information or visitor rosters to advertisers, marketing agencies, or data miners. Ever.
Your Estate Residents' Association (HOA) or Facility Management is the Data Controller governing who is permitted to enter the estate. Vellum and Vector Technologies Ltd acts strictly as the Data Processor carrying out their security instructions under written NDPA agreements.
Our gate devices validate multi-entry passes and resident digital tokens locally on the guard tablet using an embedded SQLite database, ensuring physical gate security functions reliably even during national cellular or fibre outages.
Residents can permanently delete their personal profiles, vehicle logs, and family access records at any time directly through the Resident App or our public self-service deletion portal at vello.com.ng/delete-account.
